Hi, I'm Rikki - the dog, coffee & Harry Potter obsessed founder of

Big Wild Project, proudly based in Vancouver, Canada.

I was 4 when we got our first dog, Tyson, the most perfect copper coloured mutt you’d ever seen. We were best friend from that moment on, and my love for dogs began!

Then, when I was in middle school and high school, my family spent time living in Mexico and Central America where I was exposed to tons of amazing culture.

Another thing I was exposed to though, was how many homeless and in need dogs were left roaming the streets. This broke my heart and has always stuck with me.

I knew I wanted to find a way to help but didn’t have the means to make any significant donation and was unfortunately not in a position to foster a pet.

Fast forward a few years to June 2019. I was tired of my routine and wanting to make a bigger impact on the world, I took a leap, quit my job, and Big Wild was born!

As there are approximately 2 million homeless dogs in Canada alone and millions more around the world - I knew I wanted to use my new business to raise funds and awareness for dogs in need!

So to do our part, 5% of the proceeds from each Big Wild Project purchase is donated to dog inspired charities. Each season, we choose a new organization (I couldn’t pick just one!) that rescues, rehabilitates and re-homes stray, abused, and abandoned dogs (& animals) from all over.

Big Wild began as a simple online clothing boutique but has since transformed into my very own apparel and gift brand, designed with love by yours truly for the modern dog-lover!

Since June 2019 with your help, this little business has been able to donate over $200 to dogs in need with more to come!

Through Big Wild Project, I hope to inspire kindness and compassion one dog at a time! Thank you for helping make my dream come true!

With love,

p.s tell your dog I say hi!

“Saving one dog will not change the world, but surely for that one dog,

the world will change forever.”
